Magazine: The comback: Jesus and Mary Chain

Scottish indie rock heroes Jesus and Mary Chain are back with a new album, Damage and Joy, after more than 18 years of absence! The band announced they were working a new album in 2015, after spending several months on the road to celebrate the 30^th anniversary of their seminal 1985 debut Psychocandy. Described by the rockers as “more of mature sound for the Mary Chain”, the album, with former Lush bassist Phil King, is out on March 24. Magazine: Giraffe in danger

The world's tallest animal is in danger of disappearing, after conservationists discovered there were fewer than 100.000 giraffes let in the wild. Now classified as “vulnerable to extinction”, the global population has plummeted by almost 40 per cent over the past 30 years. Habitat loss and illegal hunting in the African countries here they live are the major causes. Giraffe meat is said tot be tender and popular with locals.
